		i have a good friend. yesterday i finally got to bed at 8p.m. i spent 2 hours playing accountant. yeah, income tax time and my dad just can't do his own. not to mention his checkbook. which had NO entries for about a month! jesus christ. who just goes around using their debit card & doesn't keep a record? ugh. anyway, back to my wonderful friend. so i'm sleeping and i get a phone call at midnight. heather called to let me know that VH1 was showing a Behind The Music: The Cult. :D after all these years she remembered how much i liked the band. unfortunately i didn't care at the time and went back to sleep. it's just nice to know there are certain things that will make people think about you. posted by \|adywo\|f :: at 9:47 AM -

trying out these new Torengos tortilla chips. pretty good with the right kind of salsa. they're sort of like light Fritos. i have had nothing but junk food for the past week it seems.

i worked a bit on my new page - not enough to really mention it, oh well. i also added (for your convienence) the comments option to this blog.

hmm...that just doesn't account for my 12 hours of being awake, but it's a start. going to go annoy my cats for a while then catch a quick nap so that i wake up at the same time you do. :)

		you were right, I did wake up at 10. ;p missed out on my quarter pounder w/cheese. my mom missed her connection in Houston, so she had to catch the next flight out. she had a lovely 6 hrs. wait and $8 meal voucher they gave her for the inconveinence.giggle i just watched the Robotica Championship. I never was really into it, but the bots sure are looking better all the time. I absolutely love the TLC channel. It has everything that I can get into. From Trading Spaces to your favorite and mine Junkyard Wars! 		i didn't get a nap, but i made it back from the airport safe...barely. it isn't raining hard, but it's enough of a misty, icky drizzle to make driving fun. i broke the tradition of going to breakfast after dropping someone off at the airport. i tried to sleep at night. i woke up at 6a.m. now this is worse, there's like...sunlight and stuff. it's very cold outside, and everything is dead or dormant. although we hardly got any snow, it managed to be very ugly still.

i watched CHiPs and had cherry coke with brownie bites for breakfast. what's happened to my life?

while everyone is so involved with "getting" somewhere, I'm pretty content with where i'm at. this has to change. what's the plan?
some people are career driven, some family oriented. i think this may have to do with our childhoods. not totally of course, but hey there is some connection.

i enjoy doing a number of things, not just one thing. this can be a problem, i am aware. i'll not apologize for wanting a family when just about everyone my age is into their jobs, or going out. avoiding spending time at home. ugh. we work to provide ourselves with all the latest gadgets and gizmos that our hearts/minds desire. all in the name of entertainment. to forget about our bad days at work, or simple so they're there when we're bored. why the need for distractions? what is the real reason - or - need? so then what do you do? keep yourself busy away from home. your toys sit at home & if you're not careful it's not your toys, it's your partner. are we never satisfied?

i can do both. i want to. i will. just like the next person. there's a balance to be made. i'm fortunate to love someone that has similiar interests. our views and beliefs may collide from time to time, but matters that count we are compatible. i don't always know where he's coming from, but I do know where he's been and where he wants to go. if i can't agree at least i have always understood. not only that, but i truly care. we don't do EVERYthing together. our interests are alike and it makes it even more fun & enjoyable to share. especially if he or I know more about a subject then the other. which is wonderful. variety is the spice of life, right? it is healthy. we have an honest, loving & caring situation. who could ask for more? better yet, why would you? what do you think you're missing out on?
